BIM Coordinator

What You Will Do

As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies. You will develop and maintain BIM models, project documentation, and design deliverables to meet customer and project requirements. Working closely with sales teams, project stakeholders, and customers, you will help customise solutions, improve design processes, and support the effective use of BIM tools and standards across projects. You will also play a key role in developing training materials and promoting best practice adoption to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative and technically skilled professional to contribute to innovative projects while driving digital excellence across the business.

How You Will Do It

• Develop and coordinate project designs using AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Create and maintain BIM models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support the development of project-specific applications and digital deliverables.
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand project requirements and design expectations.
• Ensure designs and BIM deliverables meet customer specifications and business standards.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM tools and best practices.
• Coordinate design information across stakeholders to improve project delivery.
• Maintain accurate project records and document control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in system design, BIM coordination, or a related technical role.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and digital design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing and coordinating technical drawings and project documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and teams.

Preferred:

• Experience delivering BIM training or supporting user adoption initiatives.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Forma and other Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions.
• Experience within the fire protection, construction, or building services industry.
