Position: Assistant Driver

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as an Assistant Driver. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in navigating and operating the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues to the driver or management
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Assist with any other tasks as directed by the driver or management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Cape Town and surrounding areas is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
