Willow Valley Communities is looking for an enthusiastic Fitness Specialist to lead, instruct, and motivate individuals and groups in a variety of exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and stretching.

Wage

• $22/hour+ based on experience

💪 What You'll Do

As a Fitness Specialist, you'll play a vital role in promoting health and wellness throughout our community by:

• Assisting Team Leaders with the development, promotion, and implementation of fitness classes, wellness workshops, and special events for Residents and Team Members
• Instructing exercise classes, aquatics classes, and educational workshops
• Staying current on the latest trends and best practices in the fitness industry
• Conducting fitness and health-related screenings
• Developing individualized exercise plans
• Assisting with the care and maintenance of pools and fitness centers
• Ensuring fitness, aquatics, and satellite centers remain neat, clean, and safe
• Completing bi-monthly maintenance checks of satellite fitness centers throughout the community
• Serving as a lifeguard when needed
• Performing other duties as assigned!

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Lifeguard and CPR certifications
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills!

Hours

• Full-Time: 36-40 hours per week

Schedule

• Tuesday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday 7:30 AM-2:30 PM
