We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to drive business growth across the ASEAN region. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving regional sales targets within the water and wastewater treatment industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive business in assigned territory to meet or exceed assigned order taken and revenue targets.

• Lead project pursuit and tender activities and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and customer-focused solutions.

• Develop and execute market growth strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities, expand market coverage by developing new customer accounts and identifying opportunities in underserved markets.

• Establish and strengthen channel partner and distributor networks throughout the region.

• Develop technical sales and aftermarket service capabilities to support strategic and key customers.

• Deliver technical presentations and engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels to influence project specifications and purchasing decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage

• Minimum 10 years of sales, business development, or project experience within the water and wastewater treatment industry.

• Proven experience in municipal and/or industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, water reuse, or desalination projects.

• Strong industry network and established relationships with key market participants, such as engineering consultants, contractors, industrial customers, and utility companies.

• Hands-on knowledge of membrane and water treatment technologies, including:

  • Microfiltration (MF)

  • Ultrafiltration (UF)

  • Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)

  • Reverse Osmosis (RO)

• Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles, project-based selling, and regional business development activities.

• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the ASEAN region.
