Role summary:The Senior Data Analyst will leverage advanced data management, analysis, and visualization techniques to support business decision-making across multiple domains. About the team:
The team supports Walmart’s Customer and W+ domain by driving data governance and ensuring data quality across key business areas. Members collaborate to identify data sources, assess data quality, and implement management practices that enhance accuracy and reliability. Utilizing analytical techniques and visualization tools, the team delivers actionable insights to support business decisions. Working closely with stakeholders, the group promotes adherence to data policies and standards while continuously improving processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to data strategy and quality initiatives that directly impact customer experience and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
- Identify and assess data sources aligned with business requirements and service level agreements.
- Perform initial data quality checks and manage data cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Translate business needs into data-driven solutions by applying appropriate analytical methods and tools.
- Develop and deliver advanced data visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple systems and maintain data architecture standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior analysts on data analysis techniques and visualization best practices.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in data analysis, data management, and data quality assessment within complex business environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and expertise in data visualization tools including Tableau and PowerBI.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL, and big data analytics to support data integration and architecture.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
- Skilled in performing data profiling, cleansing, and quality management to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Experience applying statistical techniques and exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to present data findings clearly to stakeholders and guide junior team members.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
