Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of assigned buildings, ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the overall delivery of integrated facilities management services across assigned sites, ensuring contractual KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.
Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of Building Managers, Technical Executives, Quantity Surveyors, and Project Managers to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Identify operational issues, troubleshoot technical and service-related challenges, and provide timely professional advice and solutions.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, and key stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining service quality.
Ensure accurate maintenance of servicing records, equipment inventories, asset registers, and maintenance histories for audit and compliance purposes.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building operations, or integrated facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience managing multiple sites, vendors, maintenance operations, and facilities-related projects.
Strong knowledge of building Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, statutory compliance, and facilities management best practices.
Demonstrated experience in budget planning, cost control, contract administration, and vendor performance management.
Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
