About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst Intern to join Climate Impact X (CIX). This role offers valuable exposure to business analysis, process improvement, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement within a fast-growing climate and environmental markets business. The successful candidate will support the identification and documentation of business requirements, analyse operational processes, and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, and user experience across the organisation.
Responsibilities
• Support the gathering, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Assist in analysing current business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Prepare business requirement documents, process maps, user stories, and other project artefacts.
• Conduct data analysis and research to support business decision-making and project initiatives.
• Assist in tracking project progress, documenting action items, and coordinating follow-ups with stakeholders.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates as required.
• Collaborate with CIX teams to support implementation of business initiatives and process changes.
Requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to document requirements clearly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in interacting with stakeholders at different levels.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Interest in business analysis, project management, process improvement, or technology-enabled transformation.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, process mapping, or business analysis methodologies is advantageous but not required.
• Availability for a full-time six-month internship is beneficial but not required.
