As Senior Corporate Counsel, APAC Market, you’ll provide practical legal guidance that supports commercial growth, business decisions and responsible risk management across APAC. Based in Singapore, this role sits within the Legal, Compliance and Risk Management (LCR) team and partners closely with business teams across the region.
Core Responsibilities:
Act as trusted legal and business partner to designated APAC market business units, channels and partnerships, including LEGO Branded Channels.
Partner with People, Partner & Culture teams on a broad range of employment matters across APAC, including employee relation issues, investigations, and strategic people initiatives.
Draft, review and lead negotiation on commercial agreements while supporting regional growth initiatives.
Support business expansion and transformation projects, including new market entry and strategic growth opportunities.
Mentor junior members and contribute to legal training, knowledge management and simpler ways of working across the LCR teams, regionally and globally.
Report to the Legal Director, APAC Market, while supporting the VP/GC for China & APAC on regional legal initiatives and team priorities, as required.
This role is located in Singapore, and no relocation support is offered for this role.

Working alongside colleagues across APAC and global specialist teams, you'll help build, rebuild and inspire responsible growth while protecting one of the world's most recognized brands and supporting creative play experiences for children and families.
Do you have what it takes?
Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore or another recognized common law jurisdiction.
Experience gained in both a law firm and an in-house multi-national corporate environment, bringing balanced legal judgment and commercial awareness.
Strong commercial judgment and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice in complex and fast-moving environments
Proven experience advising on commercial contracts, employment law, competition law, regulatory and corporate governance matters.
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
Demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of legal matters independently, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives and driving practical solutions.
What would be an advantage:
Experience supporting consumer goods, retail, licensing or franchise-related businesses.
Familiarity with APAC markets and worked with cross-functional teams,
Additional regional languages for communication with stakeholders or legal knowledge systems.
