Description

Position Summary
Panorama Global is looking for an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for a portfolio of programs. You'll partner closely with programmatic staff across a diverse set of projects, providing budgeting support, forecasting, and the insights program leaders need to make better decisions. You’ll also partner with internal operations functions, working together to support the programs and improve efficiency. The FP&A Manager will also manage two Financial Analysts and help grow the FP&A function. This role calls for a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, carries multiple priorities at once, and can make complicated financial ideas clear to stakeholders at every level.
This exempt, full-time position reports to the Associate Director, FP&A. This position is remote-eligible and open to applicants nationwide; however, preference will be given to candidates based in Seattle or New York who can work in a hybrid capacity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program Financial Management & Advisory

  • Manage a portfolio of program budgets in close collaboration with program staff
  • Report monthly on budget vs. actuals and forecast, analyzing variances, trends, and performance metrics to give program leaders and management clear, actionable insights
  • Partner with program staff and business stakeholders to build annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans across a diverse portfolio of projects, and roll results up into Panorama's organization-wide budget process
  • Manage grant financials across the full lifecycle — partnering with program staff on budget proposals for prospective grants and partnerships, developing grant budgets, and preparing financial deliverables for grant reports
  • Partner with the broader finance team, using Sage Intacct to keep program financials accurate, timely, and consistent across the portfolio
Financial Strategy & Operations
  • Build and maintain financial models and tools that support strategic planning, program decisions, and operational analysis
  • Support organizational forecasting and month-end close as part of the broader finance team
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting KPIs, trends, and variances
  • Develop reports and dashboards that support internal operations, advancing our use of Sage across the team
Team Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Provide operational and team leadership for the FP&A team, including two direct reports
  • Serve as a reviewer for FP&A team members' work, helping strengthen their models, processes, and financial judgment
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A function, documenting new processes as they take hold
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize system enhancements and improve how finance works with the rest of the organization

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant professional experience, including 2 years of people management experience.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills including a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to absorb and synthesize data and distill key insights
  • Strong judgment and a demonstrated understanding of how to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to communicate sophisticated data and financial concepts to partners with a diverse set of backgrounds, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing budgets in partnership with non-finance stakeholders
  • Grant budgeting and reporting experience (nonprofit/fiscal sponsorship preferred)
  • Experience working at a nonprofit, NGO, or start-up
  • Experience using AI in your day-to-day work
  • Experience with financial management software — Sage and Salesforce in particular
