Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Patient Access Representative Sr., you will serve as a vital contributor to our hospital revenue cycle, ensuring seamless patient registration and admitting workflows. You will be responsible for handling moderately complex encounter scenarios, including insurance verification, benefits review, and navigating non-standard payer requirements. Your daily routine will involve communicating detailed financial responsibility to patients, collecting payments at the time of service, and flexing across various access points to maintain operational continuity during peak volumes. You will also utilize multiple digital tools to manage documentation, resolve discrepancies, and provide front-line guidance to help your team navigate complex access-related challenges effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will possess 1–3 years of experience in patient access, healthcare registration, or a related administrative field, specifically with demonstrated expertise in insurance verification and benefits review. We are looking for an analytical professional who can follow instructions, coordinate tasks independently, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and privacy compliance.
