Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Malmö, Sweden (onsite for the first 6 months, then at least 50% per week in the office)
Employment Type: Full-time

The job
As part of one of three teams in our Malmö office, you will help us design and develop the next generation of our market leading 3D modelling and fabrication tools, with focus on the marine market. Some of the challenges you will meet are the sheer size of the complete solution and the complex problems to solve. The marine development team is responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D teams and functions around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of complex product enhancements, features, and defect fixes. Provide support to peers in doing the same.
- Help with backlog refinement and participate in Scrum meetings including sprint planning, daily Scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
- Plan work spanning multiple sprints.
- Follow established development processes and best practices while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of experience designing and developing professional software applications using C++, .NET, and Windows technologies.
- Experience using Visual Studio and modern software development practices.
- Experience using Git for source code management.
Desired skills and competencies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with Product Owners, Testers, Product Support, and global stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for work planning and management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and SAFe.
- Experience developing software for cloud-based environments.
- Interest or knowledge in areas such as shipbuilding, engineering design or Mathematics (geometry in particular).
