As a Deal Maker on our team, you will proactively identify and pursue high-value opportunities by setting clear revenue targets, cultivating strategic relationships, and building a robust network of prospective clients and partners. You will leverage market insights and business intelligence to originate, develop, and close profitable deals that contribute to the growth and financial success of the business unit.
Are you someone who can:
- Are you someone who can execute Sales Responsibilities & Key Activities.
- Prospect Qualification & Lead Nurturing: Engage with qualified leads from the New Business team or proactively generate new opportunities through targeted outreach. Guide prospects through the full sales lifecycle, focusing on sustained engagement and value creation.
- Client Discovery & Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to deeply understand prospective clients' business challenges, strategic objectives, marketing priorities, and budgetary parameters.
- Solution Development & Proposal Presentation: Collaborate with internal service delivery teams to design tailored digital marketing and performance-based solutions. Present these solutions compellingly and develop detailed, client-specific proposals.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead commercial negotiations with confidence, effectively handle objections, and secure contractual agreements to close new business.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Establish and cultivate trust-based relationships with prospects and stakeholders throughout the sales journey, positioning the agency as a strategic partner.
- Sales Activity & CRM Management: Maintain accurate and current documentation of all sales activities, lead progress, and client communications within the CRM system to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Client Onboarding & Internal Handover: Ensure a seamless handover of new clients to the account management and delivery teams, facilitating alignment on client expectations and success metrics.
Education and Experience that you need to have:
- Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in selling digital advertising products and services is essential. This is a non-negotiable requirement and represents a critical area of expertise for success in this role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen – understands ROI, marketing metrics, and client business drivers.
- Presentation skills – confident in presenting proposals, pitches, and marketing strategy
- Resilience & adaptability – can thrive in fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
- Industry understanding around emerging technologies like AI, Data – driven decision making and future of Marketing.
