Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Client Solutions Group plays a critical role in the sales process by helping the firm acquire and retain assets under management by meeting the information needs of prospects and clients in a timely manner. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes and reviews requests for proposals (RFP’s), due diligence questionnaires, and data requests from clients and prospects. 
• Develop the periodic reporting and ad hoc data analysis, in partnership with global distribution, for Thornburg’s institutional client base. 
• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, wording, and style.
• Utilizes software tools such as FactSet, Morningstar, Bloomberg, eVestment and Clearwater to find and report financial data.
• Manage updating and reviewing consultant databases.
• Develops a deep knowledge of Thornburg’s investment offerings and clients to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Reviews and updates the product and firm profiles on consultant databases.
• As time allows, manages special projects to help develop/improve team and firm resources.
•  Works closely with many other departments such as sales, operations, enterprise data management, and compliance.
• Assists with mentoring and training of new team members. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of investment industry experience is required. 
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent).
• Understanding of relevant data and analytics, including performance, attribution, risk metrics, portfolio characteristics.
• Knowledge of FactSet, Morningstar, and Bloomberg is a plus. 
• Experience with eVestment, consultant databases, and Omni is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree required. Finance, Marketing, or Economics degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite. 
• Positive, pro-active, self-motivated, and detail-oriented person.
• Excellent time-management.
• Ability to communicate with clients and partners across the firm.
