Position: Hotel Receptionist

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Receptionist plays a vital role in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our guests have a pleasant stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Handle reservations and cancellations
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experience
- Address and resolve guest complaints and escalate any issues to management as needed
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures to maintain a high level of service and guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa
