Flowserve is looking for a Dynamic and Proactive Sales Engineer to join our team in Texas. In to help this dual-impact role, you will manage an established portfolio of Industrial and API OEM accounts across, but not limited to, the Houston region, as well as new account as part of the required business development due diligence. You will serve as the technical authority on mechanical seal applications and pump systems, ensuring Flowserve products are specified on major global project data sheets.
Key Responsibilities
OEM Account Management: Maintain and expand sales with established and new OEM accounts
Business Development: focus on growing sales through new markets, partnerships, and client relationships. Key responsibilities include finding new leads, negotiating deals, and creating growth strategies.
Technical Solution Selling: Conduct technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and specification reviews covering mechanical seals and rotating equipment systems.
Global Alignment: Collaborate with global sales, engineering, and aftermarket teams to drive business with a unified approach.
Travel: Attend domestic customer sites and occasional international quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience Level: Experience (3+ years preferred) in technical sales or applications engineering within the rotating equipment industry.
Product Knowledge: Deep technical expertise in Mechanical Seals for industrial equipment is highly preferred. Strong background in API (API 610 & API 682) standards will also be considered.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical industry experience
