What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
Supervise quality personnel and activities associated with aseptic manufacturing processes and learning.
Manage the performance of both direct and indirect reports and provide input on senior management decisions.
·Maintain and revise Standard Operating Procedures for process improvements.
·Develop goals and objectives for the quality assurance team to obtain maximum efficacy from department including delivery of cost saving initiatives.
Coaching and behavioral reinforcement and modeling within the aseptic processing areas.
Monitoring the effectiveness of the aseptic training process and implementing data-driven improvements.
Integration of aseptic gowning training principles with practices in the manufacturing areas.
Oversight of the aseptic coaching program ensuring cross-functional alignment with operations, biological quality, quality assurance, and compliance.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
Quality operations technical knowledge and strong people management experience.
Thorough understanding of GMPs, applicable SOPs, production processes, and statistical/inspection practices.
Advanced analytical skills to make informed decisions based on analytical data review.
Effective communications skills, both written and verbal.
Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Aseptic Manufacturing technical knowledge.
Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing/production issues.
Knowledge of production operations and analytical data records.
Proficiency in using data analysis computer tools and conducting statistical analysis.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Capable of aseptic gowning
Perform complex data analysis
Job duties involve occasional lifting (less than 35 lbs.), reaching, and sitting while working at computer terminal
Stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.
