Position Summary
Franklin General Hospital is seeking a positive, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong critical thinking skills to join our Med/Surg/ED team. This position offers the opportunity to care for a variety of patients, including hospice, skilled, medical, and emergency patients, while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized nursing care to Med/Surg, ED, hospice, and skilled patients
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support innovation
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork across all shifts and patient needs
- Serve in a leadership role frequently, including charge nurse responsibilities
Qualifications
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Must have a minimum of a year's experience working in an ED
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in process improvement and innovative care approaches

Schedule
- Full-Time: 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts starting at 7:00 AM
