POSITION PURPOSE
This Strategic Business Operations Temp position provides project and administrative support to the Strategic Business Operations team. The role assists with procedure maintenance, documentation, routine operational tasks, and assigned projects. This position works with team members and business partners to help ensure work is accurate, organized, timely, and completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Provide project and administrative support, including tracking assignments, coordinating information, and meeting established deadlines.
2. Review, format, organize, and tag procedures and other resources to improve accuracy, consistency, and usability.
3. Organize files and documentation, maintain records as directed, and help ensure materials are appropriately stored and accessible.
4. Assist with data entry, reconciliations, routine reporting, and quality reviews; verify information and escalate concerns when appropriate.
5. Prepare routine communications, job aids, meeting notes, status updates, and other project materials.
6. Support operational workflows and process improvement efforts by following established procedures, documenting observations, and recommending practical updates for review.
7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather information, resolve routine questions, and complete assigned work.
8. Maintain confidentiality and handle member and operational information in accordance with applicable policies and requirements.
9. Complete recurring responsibilities, special projects, and other duties as assigned..
Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework or experience in an office, banking or operations environment is helpful
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in an administrative, office, financial services, or operations support role is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software applications are required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- General understanding of financial services operations, business processes, and system support.
- The employee must develop an appropriate understanding of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements as they relate to the position and comply with applicable requirements.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Professional and service-oriented approach.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize work, follow through on assignments, document procedures, and manage multiple priorities.
- Practical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and learn Credit Union processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
