What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
