The Process Technician is responsible for performing assigned technical tasks, assist with process development and generation of visual instructions and procedures, completes assigned duties on time, follows document procedures, and maintains compliance.

This position reports to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and is part of the Engineering team located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Create manufacturing documentation required to support manufacturing, testing, and production operations.
• Create simple tools, fixtures, and jigs to support production operations.
• Initiate troubleshooting, root cause analysis and identifying effective solutions to production problems or NPI projects.
• Coordinate communication to Production Operators or Process Engineers on root causes analysis and findings.
• Assist Process Engineers in executing Continuous Improvement activity - Yield, Cycle Time improvement etc.
• Supports investigation of non-conforming materials.
• Support and perform validation activities (IQ, OQ and PQ) lead by Process Engineers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical or Electronics or higher.
• Min 1 year of experience in Production Sustaining and/or New Product Introduction Projects.
• Demonstrated skills in basic electronics and/or mechanical design aptitude.

Bonus / Incentive Pay 

Up to 10% of annual base salary.
  

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.  This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
