Summary:

Develops and manages marketing programs and market access initiatives for assigned product lines, including strategic and tactical plans, cross-functional collaboration, promotional programs, competitive tracking and recommendations for product opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and identify market growth opportunities and develop strategic business planning, market analysis, tactical sales support and product management plans.

• Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote assigned product lines to healthcare professionals and, where appropriate, patients.

• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers on strategic and operating planning, including marketing inputs and annual marketing communication budgets.

• Provide feedback on marketing policy, product and product line revisions and pricing changes.

• Interface with medical, regulatory, legal, communications and sales teams to maximize market opportunities.

• Lead annual strategic marketing plan development and implementation with input and buy-in from sales and marketing teams.

• Execute product launches, sales tools, tactical programs and competitive positioning for the product line.
• Identify opportunities and cultivate relationships with national groups, key opinion leaders and product champions.

Qualifications:

• Strong results orientation, analytical skills and strategic planning capability.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Skills in market research, pricing and reimbursement, customer advocacy development, product/program development, messaging and branding.
• Good sense of urgency, strong follow-up and ability to work independently.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device marketing experience preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
• 6 to 8 years of sales and marketing experience preferred,
• ideally in healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
