Job Description

As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and other security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping to maintain an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
