Job Description:

What It Means to Be a Consultant at Crowe
Consulting is a dynamic business focused on solving problems for our clients and serving our core markets through innovative solutions. As technology and AI continue to reshape the consulting landscape, we are looking for individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. At Crowe, consultants are expected to build both technical and transferable skills, think critically, and use technology to solve real business problems. In this role, you will continuously learn, collaborate across teams, and explore how tools, including emerging AI capabilities, can improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes.

In management at Crowe, you play a pivotal role in leading teams, guiding project execution, and deepening client relationships. You are expected to contribute to account planning, identify opportunities to add value, and ensure high-quality delivery. As your responsibilities expand, you take on broader account ownership, balancing project leadership with growing involvement in client strategy and solution development.

Success in this role comes from a growth mindset, strong communication skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to navigate new challenges with confidence

About the role

Crowe is seeking an experienced and dynamic Government Consultant to join our growing public sector consulting practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful projects that help government clients modernize their Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in management consulting, a passion for solving complex business challenges, and the ability to lead teams and drive results.

This individual will support clients through organizational and technology change. Assess how change affects people, processes, and business operations, then help leaders and employees prepare, adopt, and sustain new ways of working. Partner with project teams and stakeholder groups to coordinate readiness, communications, engagement, and training activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess organizational readiness and change impacts; identify gaps, risks, and actions to address them.
  • Build relationships with leaders and stakeholders, explain changes, and support awareness, commitment, and readiness.
  • Plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement, communications, resistance management, coaching, and training activities.
  • Support readiness networks and change champions within client organizations.
  • Maintain stakeholder records, engagement trackers, and readiness reporting in project tools.
  • Prepare status updates, presentations, knowledge transfer materials, and lessons learned.
  • Work with project leaders, subject matter experts, and other delivery teams across project phases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience applying a recognized OCM methodology, such as PROSCI.
  • At least one year of experience providing organizational readiness analysis and planning for a highly complex project valued at $10 million or more.
  • At least one year of experience guiding stakeholders through change by explaining impacts, supporting commitment, and assessing operational readiness.
  • Prosci certification preferred.

#LI-Hybrid

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $57,600.00 - $110,400.00 per year.
