Essential Functions

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation, and enter voucher information into the Deltek Accounts Payable (AP) module for payment.

• Review expenditures for accuracy and compliance with company expenditure policies.

• Assist the Senior Staff Accountant with weekly cash disbursements.

• Process employee expense report reimbursements in Deltek and ensure timely payment.

• Audit employee expense reports for compliance with company travel and expense (T&E) policies.

• Generate accounts receivable (AR) invoices and apply customer cash receipts.

• Research and respond to accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with year-end external audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.

• Participate in the annual year-end physical inventory count.

• Assist with other general accounting activities and special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience with Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, or similar accounting or ERP systems is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments.

• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate financial records.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.

Minimum Education and Work Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 0–3 years of experience in general accounting.

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
