Description
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Act as the main liaison and representative with joint venture partners for daily project administration and ensure compliance with all agreements
Oversee and monitor the landscape works for a variety of development and revitalization projects, covering all aspects from design, procurement, contract management to cost and quality control
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, district councils, government departments, and other stakeholders to facilitate project planning, approvals, and implementation
Administer construction contracts, monitor project progress, manage site works and address any construction-related issues or complaints
Provide technical and project management support for entrustment projects nominated by the government, including feasibility studies and approval coordination
Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
Degree holder in Landscape Architecture / Design or related disciplines
Recognized professional qualifications in LARB / HKILA / HKIA / HKIS / HKIE / CIOB or equivalent professional qualifications
Minimum 8 years’ relevant work experience with not less than 4 years of post-qualification experience in building / construction field
Knowledge and proficiency in design software/programme, e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, AI model, etc.
The appointment will be made on a 3-year fixed-term contract, which may be renewable subject to appointee’s performance, the Authority’s business needs, and other relevant factors.
