We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Manufacturing Team Leader to join the team based out of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales! You will have exposure over both Day Shift & Night Shift operations in a high impact leadership position, on an pleasant 3x day weekly routine.

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead safe shift execution by ensuring all team members follow site safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), walkway rules, and safe work practices

• Promote a strong safety culture by calling out unsafe behaviours, coaching on the spot, and escalating risks before incidents occur

• Own food safety and quality standards by ensuring hygiene, housekeeping, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements are consistently followed

• Identify and reduce quality risks by spotting potential issues early, preventing defects, and helping minimise complaints and rework

• Coordinate preparation and cleaning activities to keep operations running smoothly while meeting safety and quality expectations

• Ensure only compliant product is made by preventing non-conforming product from being prepared or released within the factory

• Support audits and continuous improvement forums by participating in internal audits, food safety committees, and sanitary design activities

• Manage shift-to-shift communication by sharing key updates between morning and night shifts and closing gaps in training and standards adherence

• Run daily operational rhythm and escalation by facilitating shift meetings, reviewing the last 24 hours’ performance, and escalating support needs quickly

• Drive performance and problem-solving by recording downtime, improving throughput and OEE, reducing waste/top losses, and leading root-cause investigations (e.g., 5 Whys/RCFA)

About you:

• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and similar databases.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to uplift others and collaborate effectively.

• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products.

• Forklift license with F Endorsement (Preferred)

• Eligibility to work in Australia – with full working rights.
