About the role:
ITEC is transforming semiconductor manufacturing. We design and build high-volume, high-speed, high-precision solutions that help our customers assemble and test 250 million semiconductors every day.
We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join our high-tech engineering team and help optimize the assembly of our semiconductor equipment at ITEC’s production facilities in Malaysia.
What you will do :
Support the integration and commissioning of mechatronic modules and in our state-of-the-art die bonding machines
Support the set-up of an ITEC Malaysia assembly line from mechatronics perspective
Work with internal stakeholders and customers to clarify technical issues, support problem resolution, and align practical improvements and customer requests as part of a multidisciplinary technical team
Perform technical analysis, measurements, and investigations to support troubleshooting, commissioning, and performance improvement activities
Support customers and field service engineers with equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving
What you will need :
University degree MSc/BSc in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) with proven mechatronics experience
Experience with control and automation systems (tuning, diagnostics, measurement)
A few years’ experience in the Semiconductors/Electronics/RFID/LED industrial equipment industry is an advantage
Experience using MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis
High level knowledge of DFM, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D methods
Excellent technical troubleshooting, decision-making and creative-thinking skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to deliver results through determination and teamwork
Excellent communication skills in English
Flexibility to travel overseas and to Hong Kong and The Netherlands
