Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all the Inter & Intra company process flows for stock and non-stock transactions. This includes but is not limited to creating the intercompany charge outs and corresponding charge ins, reconciling out-of-balances, monitoring ageing, and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
• Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope
• Driving deep expertise, ensuring teams are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
• Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
• Execute global intercompany activities in line with process taxonomy.
• Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items
• Responsible to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach
• Influence and execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards
• Studies and recommend ways to automate or improve current financial reporting processes.
• Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations as needed to address specific business needs
• Other tasks that may be delegated by the immediate Senior Team Lead or Manager.

Compliance

• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities 
• Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance
• CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred

Language requirement:

• Fluent English, other language skills desirable Fluent English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience and Skills Required:

• At least 4 years of professional experience is required in accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel

Other:

• Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / ASIA
• Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
• Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
• Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
• Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company
