Warehouse Operative

Location: Hoddesdon
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Type: Temporary

 

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Hoddesdon.

This is a physically active role involving loading and unloading vehicles, pallet handling and ensuring goods are received and dispatched accurately. You'll play an important part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

This role would suit candidates with previous warehouse, loading bay or goods in/goods out experience who are happy working in a fast-paced environment.

 

What You'll Do

• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Move and organise pallets within the warehouse
• Assist with Goods In and Goods Out processes
• Check deliveries and prepare orders for dispatch
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Support the warehouse team with general duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse or loading/unloading experience
• Experience with pallet handling
• Knowledge of Goods In and Goods Out procedures
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a busy warehouse team

PPE Required

Applicants must provide their own:

• Safety boots
• High-visibility vest

Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay
