Description
Experience with aeronautical systems or airborne/ground-based avionics is important, especially as it relates to sustaining engineering. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from an ABET-accredited school plus 10 years of industry or government EE experience - or - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited school plus 18 years of industry experience Active Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI and SAP access LI-CH1 Zamboni This person will work independently and use good judgment while supporting the following: Apply DoD engineering principles and processes to improve performance and sustainability of current and future AF and joint-service weapon systems Provide technical leadership across complex hardware and software design efforts Contribute to systems engineering tasks including requirements management and test/evaluation Coordinate across government leadership, development teams, vendors, and users to ensure solutions align with mission needs and resources Identify and communicate project and system risks Create and maintain engineering documentation for the program
