About the Role
We are currently seeking a Platform Procurement Program Manager to be based out of our Secaucus, NJ office. The Platform Procurement Program Manager is an individual contributor who will be responsible for end-to-end supply-demand optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of server PCBAs, electronic components, and related materials from qualified suppliers.
Issue and manage purchase orders, including pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and commercial terms.
Monitor supplier commitments and proactively address shortages, delays, and supply constraints.
Work closely with Material Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to align purchasing with production requirements.
Review MRP/ERP requirements and convert demand into timely purchase orders.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete materials.
Support supplier selection, qualification, cost negotiations, and performance management.
Negotiate lead times, MOQ, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
Track PCBA component availability and identify potential long-lead-time and allocation risks.
Coordinate engineering changes, BOM updates, and part substitutions with suppliers and internal teams.
Ensure purchased materials meet specifications, quality requirements, and approved vendor lists.
Support resolution of supplier quality issues, material discrepancies, and delivery problems.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships and participate in supplier performance reviews.
Analyze purchasing data, including cost, lead time, supplier performance, and delivery metrics.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in electronics, PCBA, servers, networking equipment, or a related manufacturing environment.
Understanding of PCBAs, electronic components, BOMs, and electronics manufacturing processes.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and purchasing workflows.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers, priorities, and production requirements simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $82,500 and $110,000 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
