This is a night shift, and on-site role in our Makati Circuit Office.

Responsibilities

What success looks like in this role:

In this role, you'll be recognized for:

Here's what you will be doing

• Prepare and post journal entries with accurate general ledger classifications.

• Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Support monthly and annual financial close activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Analyze financial transactions, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities.

• Generate financial reports, management summaries, and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.

• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and audit responses.

• Recommend and help implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

• Collaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.

• Contribute to special projects, process improvement initiatives, and business growth efforts.

• Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

• At least 5+ years of accounting experience

• Strong background in general ledger accounting and accounts payable processes

• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

• High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A)

• Experience with internal and external audits

• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

• Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting staff

• QuickBooks experience is a plus
