Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Low Voltage is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/visual, and network cabling. This role involves performing inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure system reliability and compliance with technical standards. The technician collaborates with teams to support project completion, provides technical guidance to end users, and maintains accurate documentation. Adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and ethical standards is essential while continuously seeking opportunities to improve system performance and operational processes.

What you'll do:
- Install, configure, and support low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/visual, network cabling.
- Perform cabling tasks as running, terminating, labeling, and testing per project, industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults and outages to minimize downtime.
- Repair/replace components and perform system upgrades for improved performance and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on installations and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support/training to end users on system operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure timely, high-quality project completion and continuous process improvements.
- Operate and maintain assigned vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in installing, configuring, and supporting low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and audio/visual equipment.
- Skilled in running, terminating, labeling, and testing cabling per technical specifications and industry standards.
- Ability to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing to ensure system reliability.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system faults and outages efficiently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $58.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations within the last three (3) years.
Commercial driving record with no preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle within the last three (3) years.
Commercial driving record with no serious traffic violations, as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, within the last three (3) years.
Ability to successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and obtain medical certification valid for at least one (1) year.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
Option 1: 1 year’s experience in electrical, material handling equipment, or related technical trade. Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Experience in local electrical codes and standards.
