The Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable facility operations. This role involves coordinating work assignments, overseeing material procurement, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires troubleshooting, quality assurance, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party providers to uphold facility standards. Additionally, the Technician supports seasonal maintenance activities, equipment operation, and vehicle upkeep, contributing to cost control and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company policies and operational goals.

What you'll do:

• Manage and prioritize exterior facility projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and approval of purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, landscaping, and equipment servicing.
• Operate and inspect heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety compliance and proper maintenance.
• Lead third-party providers through coaching and performance evaluations to maintain service quality.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and provide technical assistance to resolve customer concerns effectively.

What you'll bring:

• Proven ability to manage departmental operations, including budgeting, purchasing, and project prioritization.
• Experience in sourcing, verifying, and approving materials, equipment, and supplies to meet quality and cost standards.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to lead third-party providers, conduct performance evaluations, and develop quality assurance inspections.
• Effective problem-solving and customer service skills to assess and resolve facility-related issues.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity in all work activities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
