The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Functions as a member of assigned organization and school committees. Assists the Dean in student guidance, performance appraisal, discipline procedures, and other student management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor administrative, financial, and operational documents, records, reports, schedules, clinical training materials, and orientation materials to ensure accurate and timely completion by faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
- Assist with course coordination in collaboration with faculty to support effective course delivery and program operations.
- Utilizes effective teaching strategies. Assists in the integration of teaching tools, technologies, and current strategies into the curriculum on an ongoing basis. Guides faculty in the clinical and/or lab setting utilizing effective strategies to facilitate learning. Plans, develops, implements and evaluates educational activities to meet the learning needs of students.
- Participates in acquiring and maintaining facilities and resources to meet departmental goals. Assists in ongoing evaluations of all clinical facilities ensuring course and clinical objectives are met.
- Monitor data collection related to course/clinical evaluations, student surveys, formative and summative examinations, and other assessment requirements supporting accreditation and program evaluation.
- Organize and analyze information to prepare required reports for internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with the Dean.
- Support data analysis and reporting to inform evidence-based decision-making and continuous quality improvement.
- Assist and participate within planning and coordinating program activities, including orientation, graduation, recruitment and other events, as directed by the Dean
- Participates in the evaluation of new equipment and instructional tools and makes recommendations to the Dean as requested.
- Assists the Dean in planning and maintaining the educational and professional standards of the school. Participates in the development of school policies and procedures. Review and edit documents for accuracy, completeness, grammatical correctness, and consistency with departmental standards.
- Assists the Dean in maintaining curriculum integrity and responsiveness to internal and external changes to prepare effective graduate nurses. Participates in the planning, designing, evaluating, and revising curriculum content on a regular basis.
- Meets regularly with faculty to identify and resolve problems related to the implementation of the curriculum design. Assists faculty to implement approved curriculum content on an ongoing basis.
- Assists the Dean in maintaining Academic Support program for students. Assesses referred students for learning needs. Provides Academic Support assignments to referred students. Monitors referred students for program compliance. Maintains open communication with faculty and Dean regarding referred students.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Dean.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Master's of Science in Nursing or higher.
- Experience: Two years of experience in nursing education.
- Other Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, Registered Nurse – NJ or Registered Nurse – NLC multi-state
- CPR Requirements:
- Requires ACLS (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date) if assigned to: Critical Care/Intermediate/Telemetry, Emergency Rooms, Pediatrics/Pediatrics Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, Surgical Services (not to include Perioperative), Interventional Procedures, Observation.
- Requires NRP (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date) if assigned to: Maternity Services
- Requires PALS (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date) if assigned to: Emergency Rooms, Infant Follow-Up, Surgical Services (only PACU & Same Day Surgery), Pediatrics/Pediatric ED.
- Knowledge and Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and follow through to ensure tasks are complete.
- Special Training: Experience with instructional technology.
