About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Marketing, Brand & Events will lead Tennis SA's brand, marketing, digital, content, events and partnership activation functions to drive participation, engagement and commercial outcomes across South Australia. The role also plays a critical leadership role in the delivery of the Adelaide International marketing program, working closely with Tennis Australia and key event stakeholders. This role is a 12-month contract until December 2027.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading Tennis SA's marketing, brand, content and digital strategies to grow participation, engagement and audience reach across the state.
• Developing and delivering the Adelaide International marketing program, including go-to-market campaigns, ticketing promotions, audience growth and stakeholder communications.
• Overseeing the planning and delivery of Tennis SA events and experiences, creating memorable outcomes for participants, spectators, sponsors and partners.
• Driving content, digital and social media performance through audience-led storytelling, data insights and innovation.
• Leading partnership activations and managing a high-performing team to maximise commercial outcomes and strengthen Tennis SA's brand and reputation.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bring extensive senior marketing leadership experience, ideally gained within sport, major events, entertainment, tourism or consumer-facing organisations.
• Have a proven track record developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive audience growth, participation, ticket sales and commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong experience leading major events, managing multiple projects and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
• Be highly commercial, data-driven and confident translating market insights into strategic recommendations and measurable results.
• Be an engaging people leader, capable of developing teams, building partnerships and influencing outcomes across complex environments.
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis SA.
