Hours: 20 hours per week
Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented graduate student to serve as a Research Assistant and support ongoing academic research projects. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on research experience while developing skills in data collection, analysis, literature review, and academic research.
The Research Assistant will work closely with Professor Julia Kokina and contribute to various stages of the research process. The specific responsibilities may vary depending on project needs and the student's interests and experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting literature searches and reviewing academic and professional publications
- Summarizing research articles and identifying relevant themes and findings
- Collecting, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining research data
- Assisting with qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis
- Coding and analyzing interview, survey, or archival data
- Preparing tables, figures, summaries, and other research materials
- Assisting with the development and administration of surveys or interview protocols
- Supporting the preparation of manuscripts, conference presentations, and research reports
- Maintaining accurate documentation of research procedures and results
- Participating in regular research meetings and providing progress updates
- Performing other research-related activities as needed

The student may contribute to projects involving topics such as accounting, auditing, emerging technologies, data analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and technology governance, depending on current research needs.
