Senior Staff Accountant

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strengthening accounting processes within a dynamic P&C environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and Statutory (NAIC) requirements
• Support regulatory filings and ensure compliance with insurance reporting standards
• Assist with reinsurance accounting and evaluate financial impact of transactions
• Strengthen internal controls and contribute to audit readiness and coordination
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably homeowners
• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting (NAIC reporting)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively
