Investment Manager

This role is a member of the team responsible for the management and oversight of account portfolios, covering a broad range of assets. It will support the efforts on asset allocation and individual deals, will and work with the team on investment performance monitoring, compliance with regulations and internal investment guidelines, and communication of investment activities and results to senior management.

Descriptions:
• Assist the team with developing tactical asset allocation strategy.
• Attend alternative investment meetings and provide Head of Investments with the necessary information, like the existing exposure and compliance limit etc.
• Support the monitoring and execution of the necessary derivatives related to PE and the other alternative investments.
• Help monitor and execute public equity ETFs.
• Help prepare the proposals Real Estate investment for approvals.
• Prepare all necessary materials for the Committee and Board meetings.
• Prepare all necessary materials or data provided to internal parties and external parties.
• Have regular meetings with Investment managers and monitor investment performance. Monitor compliance to investment and regulatory guidelines and support the team recommending solution when compliance issue arises.
• Monitor investment yields and assist the team working with investment managers/product teams to develop pricing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with the internal guidelines and regulations.
• Support ad-hoc investment initiatives and related projects working with other teams as required: Coordinate solvency impact quantification, accounting process, recommend asset allocation and source of fund, participate in project discussions to support the execution of the agreed strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in financial industry (or related industry) with basic knowledge of investment/financial market
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated self-starter and team player with collaborative mindset
• Attention to details. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
