This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

The Senior Data Analyst applies specialized knowledge to conceptualize, design, develop, configure, and implement data loading procedures for HPE Operations – Global Client Management – Partner Delivery related business needs. Enables business intelligence with data availability. Interacts with the internal customers and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned deliverables. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance (validation) and measure key project parameters. Prepares documentation. Conforms to security and quality standards. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

The Senior Data Analyst applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex technical business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities: 

• Execution, maintenance and development of packages/procedures to enable Single Source of Truth data for Partner Delivery business process
• Support Partner Delivery business owners with data validation, analysis cleansing, and global Partner performance monitoring
• Manage the so called “Charm’D” database, ensuring operational stability and data integrity
• Lead automation of data loads to enhance quality, efficiency, and process documentation
• Participates in cross-functional teams meetings to align on requirements, timelines and deliverables specifics
• Designs, prepares and executes data validation procedures
• Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
• Develops innovative team solutions to complex data problems.
• Contributes to strategic direction for data planning for Partner Delivery and other businesses
• Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for clients.
• Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues, when such arise

Education and Experience Required: 

• Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Advanced Microsoft SQL skills
• Advanced Visual Studio Data Tools skills including C# and VBA scripting
• Proven experience in complex ETL process ownership
• Maturity in managing high-volume data environments and automating data load processes. Knowledge of process documentation and workflow optimization
• Strong data loading and cleansing capabilities. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for data-related issues
• Additional skills with other platforms like Oracle, Presto, Vertica would be an advantage
• Skills in use of API calls and response handling
• Good understanding of Microsoft's Power Platform universe of software solutions - PowerBI/Fabric, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
• Scripting skills in Python, Shell, Bash would be and advantage
• Skills in AWS, Azure, Hive or other cloud solutions would be an advantage
• Skills with incorporation of AI agents/chatbots would be an advantage
• Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence techniques and methodologies would be an advantage
