Job Description

As a Security Officer Service Gate in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic utility location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while contributing to a caring and innovative culture that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and applicable emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report maintenance, lighting, environmental, and other security-related issues observed during patrols.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining activity logs, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required.
• Have a least 1 year of customer service experience. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
