What You Will Do
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment.
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented professional committed to delivering quality patient care and operational excellence.
- Proficient in computer applications, data entry, and electronic pharmacy systems, with the ability to accurately document and manage information.
- Flexible and adaptable to rotating between compounding and shipping/packing responsibilities based on business needs.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain productivity in a dynamic healthcare setting.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred
- Must possess all state and local qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Michigan required.
- PTCB certification required (must obtain within 90 days of hire if not currently certified).
- Minimum 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Retail pharmacy experience.
- Specialty pharmacy experience highly-preferred.
