Description
Developing and maintaining working relations with suppliers assigned.
Monitoring stock and inventories of local warehouses, and planning quantities of parts and materials needed, with respect to production and delivery plans.
Negotiating contracts and specific conditions for delivery of parts, materials or services.
Ensuring timely procurement and order management to ensure parts and materials are appropriately delivered
Ensuring supplier performance reporting, announcing and clarifying claims, if necessary

Buys mid-volume (direct and/or indirect) materials, parts, or services, for the local plant(s) or site(s) assigned.
Regularly plans, evaluates and monitors the needs and requirements of local requisitioners.
Utilizes existing frame contracts and agreements, but also buy from additional sources, if necessary and appropriate.
Plans the needs according to plan, monitor relevant stock inventories, and respectively place the procurement orders.
Plans and carries out routine evaluation of suppliers, responsibly undertakes call for tenders, and evaluate offerings.
Supports supplier management, and approaches supplier in case of claims in order to settle disputes, within given limits.
