Who we are
As renowned travel industry heavyweights (if we do say so ourselves), the Travel Innovation Group offer a wealth of unique services via our three companies; Lime, Aviate and Calrom.
So, what exactly do we do? We began with our bespoke tech which provides market-leading flight booking systems for the world’s leading airlines to the travel trade to book the world’s most recognisable travel brands. Our service is legendary in the industry (for all the right reasons) and thanks to this foundation, our growth continues to skyrocket with new, exciting products launching regularly, from cruise packages to luxury hotel booking services. What can we say – we’ve always been innovators at heart!
While we now have offices, people and partners across the globe, the hub of the action remains at our thriving Cheshire Oaks (UK) HQ and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join us, to succeed with us and to grow with us.
About us and the department this role sits in:
We’re passionate about delivering brilliant marketing and communications for our own in-house brands and our partners too (we’re lucky enough to work with some pretty epic brands!). We are customer obsessed, and our goal is to really add value to all our customers with each communication or campaign.
Our teams are made up of a diverse mix of talented marketers and designers whose own experience and ideas make our department what it is.
The role:
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to support the delivery of creative marketing campaigns across our Travel Innovation Group brands, with a particular focus on our technology products, SaaS company Calrom and employer brand.
Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager and teams across the business, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of marketing campaigns and communications, helping to bring ideas to life and support key business objectives.
You’ll create engaging content, coordinate campaigns across multiple channels and help make complex technology and services easy for our customers and colleagues to understand. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead on smaller projects and continue developing your marketing skills across a varied and fast-moving role.
If you have a passion for marketing, a creative flair, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once, this role could be a great fit for you.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the tactical implementation of marketing campaigns across our Travel Innovation Group brands, technology products and SaaS company, Calrom.
- Executing the day-to-day delivery of marketing campaigns and communications across multiple channels.
- Creating engaging content including blogs, email campaigns and social media, taking complex products and messages and making them simple, clear and customer-focused.
- Supporting the development and delivery of our Travel Innovation Group employer brand across internal and external channels.
- Leading on smaller marketing projects as directed by the Marketing and Communications Manager, managing activity from brief through to delivery.
- Creating clear creative briefs and working closely with the design team to bring campaigns and content to life.
- Supporting customer marketing campaigns and communications for Lime and Aviate, helping to strengthen customer engagement and brand awareness.
- Supporting lead generation and demand generation campaigns using HubSpot.
- Creating and managing email campaigns, workflows, landing pages and nurture activity within HubSpot.
- Keeping website content up to date and supporting general website maintenance through our content management system.
- Producing marketing reports and reviewing campaign performance, documenting successes and learnings to help improve future activity.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders across all projects, keeping them updated on progress, deadlines and deliverables.
- Providing concise, timely and constructive feedback to colleagues and supporting collaborative ways of working.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of promotional events and other marketing activity as required.
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager with new product launches, product development plans and other key marketing initiatives.
- Ensuring all content is factually accurate, on brand and delivered to a high standard, with excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
The Successful Applicant:
We’re looking for someone who has:
- At least three years’ experience in a marketing role, with hands-on experience supporting or delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- A good working knowledge of HubSpot, ideally including email marketing, workflows, landing pages and reporting. Experience with marketing automation, data management and lead generation would be advantageous.
- Experience using content management systems to create and manage website content. Experience with WordPress would be advantageous.
- A solid understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them to create effective, customer-focused communications.
- Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging and easy-to-understand content.
- Experience working with creative teams and writing clear briefs for design and digital content.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work on time.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong spelling, grammar and content editing skills.
- Be comfortable using marketing data and campaign performance to understand what has worked, what hasn’t and where improvements can be made.
- Experience working collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders to deliver marketing activity.
We think you’ll be a great fit if you are:
- Passionate, driven and creative, with a genuine interest in marketing.
- Curious and proactive, with a willingness to share ideas and look for new ways to improve our marketing.
- A confident and diplomatic communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve shared goals.
- Comfortable taking ownership of your work and leading smaller projects from start to finish.
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities without losing sight of the detail.
- Confident pitching ideas and communicating with stakeholders at different levels of the business.
- Excited by technology, innovation and the opportunity to market products that solve real customer challenges.
- Keen to continue developing your marketing knowledge through learning, experimentation and professional development.
What you’ll get
- Annual company bonus in addition to your salary.
- 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
- Hybrid working options (minimum three days in the office).
- 5% matched company pension contribution.
- Modern office with on-site gym and bar so you can enjoy a free drink on a Friday!
- Internal training academy to support your learning and personal development.
