TECHNICAL TRAINER – ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW
- Salary: €4,000–€4,300 per month + 4% annual bonus

ROLE DETAILS
Whether you've already delivered technical training or you've gained experience coaching customers and colleagues in a technical environment, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career as a Technical Trainer within a global engineering business.
You'll develop and deliver engaging training programmes for customers, distribution partners and internal technical teams, combining classroom-based learning with practical, hands-on machine training. Your role will be to ensure engineers have the knowledge and confidence to install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot advanced industrial equipment.
Working closely with Engineering and R&D teams, you'll help keep training materials aligned with the latest product developments while continuously improving learning programmes and training content. This is a highly visible position that offers the opportunity to work with customers across a range of international industries, including aerospace, medical, defence and advanced manufacturing.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver classroom and practical technical training for customers, partners and internal engineers
- Develop and maintain technical training programmes, presentations, practical exercises and assessments
- Demonstrate installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures on industrial machinery
- Assess trainee performance through practical exercises, written tests and certification programmes
- Produce and maintain training documentation, learning materials and technical records
- Work closely with Engineering and R&D teams to ensure training content remains aligned with new product developments
- Support the development of digital learning content using modern training methods and LMS platforms
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience delivering technical training or supporting customers and colleagues through technical knowledge transfer
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Experience working with industrial machinery, automation or other complex capital equipment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable delivering both classroom and hands-on practical training
- Fluent English communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 15–25%)
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience within Additive Manufacturing, industrial machinery or advanced manufacturing
- Knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, lasers or industrial automation
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual classroom platforms or digital training tools
- Video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects
- Dutch or French language skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline
