Description
We offer:
- Concept, design, develop and deliver standard and customised training solutions with an electrical / controls bias
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a training strategy for the Academy @ Dematic and its customers
- Keep up to date with the latest products and solutions from the Dematic product portfolio
- Work alongside our customers to understand their training needs and recommend suitable training solutions to meet their requirements
- Provide technical support as and when required to our engineering teams and customers which may include occasional weekend / shift working
- Working knowledge of relevant industry standards to ensure compliance to and best practice is followed
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation
- Act as an ambassador of the company and the Academy @ Dematic brand
- Identify continuous improvement and training sales opportunities
Tasks and Qualifications:
Experience with some or all of the following is desirable but not essential.
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff)
- HMI’s and SCADA
- Fieldbus networks (AS-I, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP)
- Inverter drives (SEW, Siemens, KEB, Nord)
- Barcode scanners & Imagers (Sick, Datalogic, Cognex)
- Electrical design
- Reading electrical schematics and device layout drawings
- Safety system design standards
- Electrical test equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Control system commissioning
