As a Head of Production Management on our ATV Operations group, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Lead transfer and change projects to ensure supply security and meet product cost targets
- Act as business change project leader for transfer projects for a defined product portfolio
- Lead volume core team in a global, multi-cultural setup involving Manufacturing Sites, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and Quality
- Identify and implement measures to improve cost-per-piece through yield, test, process, and bill-of-material (BOM) improvements
- Contribute to product ramp-up (post-transfer) and ensure achievement of yield, cost, and volume targets
- Own the product after production release (PR9) as part of the sustaining function
- Lead or actively contribute to focus teams for production/quality deviations to identify root cause and resolve issues
- Define and agree on the product cost roadmap and manufacturing footprint during the new product development phase (PR3-PR9)
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, including frontend/backend manufacturing, electrical test development, product engineering, and R&D;
- Strong experience in production management, FE/BE technologies, and supply chain environments
- Very good analytical skills with the ability to handle complex situations, manage dependencies, and set priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and in uncertain situations, with experience leading intercultural teams
- Curiosity and self-driven interest in leveraging new technical tools to improve ways of working (e.g., machine learning, AI)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills
- Willingness to travel for business (up to 15%) and fluency in English
