POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Support position supports The Business School's marketing, communications and event initiatives by creating engaging visual content across digital and print platforms. Working closely with the Events and Communications team, the Project Support provides creative support for the RMIT Business Plan Competition 2026, including the development of campaign assets, event collateral and social media content, while also contributing to other marketing and event projects. The role helps ensure all creative outputs are delivered to a high standard and align with RMIT's brand guidelines, enhancing The Business School's visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Key Accountabilities Summary
- Develop and adapt the key visual for the RMIT Business Plan Competition 2026 across digital and print platforms.
- Design creative assets for social media, EDMs, presentation slides, event signage, certificates and other promotional materials.
- Ensure all creative outputs align with RMIT brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital production, incorporating feedback and revisions as required.
- Collaborate with the Events and Communications team to deliver creative assets within agreed timelines.
- Maintain organised design files and support the management of creative assets throughout the project.
- Assist with other graphic design and marketing activities for The Business School as required.
Key Selection Criteria
- Currently undertaking or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), Canva, or similar design software.
- A portfolio showcasing creative design work across digital and/or print platforms.
- Strong visual communication skills with an eye for layout, typography and attention to detail.
- Ability to create engaging visual content for social media, marketing campaigns and event materials.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing tasks independently.
- Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, RMIT Values and RMIT Leadership Model.
