Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising day-to-day construction activities.
- Monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications, work programmes, and project schedules.
- Supervise construction of water supply infrastructure, including WTPs, pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines, valve chambers, roads, and allied civil structures.
- Review contractors' construction methodologies, work programmes, resource deployment, and site execution plans.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, design teams, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans.
- Monitor contractor manpower, equipment, and material deployment and highlight resource constraints affecting project progress.
