The Financial Controller, Japan & Korea is responsible for leading all aspects of finance across the Japan and Korea businesses. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning and analysis while serving as a trusted business partner to commercial and operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial controllership for Japan and Korea, including month-end close, account reconciliations, US GAAP reporting, and OneStream submissions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across both countries.
• Partner with commercial leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business decision-making.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and support SOX compliance activities.
• Oversee treasury, banking, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions.
• Support inventory, supply chain, import/export, and distribution-related accounting activities.
• Manage external service providers, auditors, tax advisors, and shared service teams.
• Lead, develop, and support local finance team members across Japan and Korea.
• Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, risks, and opportunities to regional leadership.
• Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives across the region.

This role reports to the Finance Director, APAC & China and serves as a key member of the APAC & China finance leadership team.
